Return to China with Mozart in Guiyang
On 19 December 2025, I had the pleasure of returning to China to perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto in D major with the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Guoyong Zhang, at the Guiyang Grand Theatre.
Having performed in China on many previous occasions, it is always a special joy to return to this fascinating country. Mozart’s luminous and elegant writing felt especially at home in the beautiful acoustic of the Guiyang Grand Theatre, and it was a pleasure to share this music with Maestro Zhang and his fantastic orchestra.
