Lana Trotovšek with Beethoven and Hugo Wolf on 69th Ljubljana Festival
After last years performance of the complete Beethoven violin sonatas at the Festival Ljubljana, for which Lana Trotovšek recieved the Prešeren’s Fund Award, Lana has returned for another performance of Beethoven’s Kreutzer sonata. This time in a string quintet version, arrangement attributed to Beethoven himself. Lana has also premiered the Hugo Wolf violin concerto at the same concert. The concert was received with enthusiasm and to a great critical acclaim, described as “the best chamber music concert of the 69th Ljubljana Festival”.
