Tchaikovsky at the Festival International Ricardo Castro in Mexico
In April I took off on my first trip to Mexico. Durango is surrounded by a large evergreen forest and the Chihuahuan desert. With it’s capital city Victoria de Durango, this is a beautiful and unique part of the world. I was delighted to contribute to their cultural and artistic activities in the city, for which I was honoured to receive the city’s Recognition. It was a pleasure to perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with the festival’s orchestra and maestro David Harutyunyan as well as giving a masterclass to young talented violinists from all over the country.
